At Nurture Roots Foundation, our Street2School Scheme is dedicated to transforming the lives of underprivileged out-of-school children in Nigeria, with a special focus on orphans. Through this initiative, we identify children in need, send them to school, and closely track their academic and personal development. Our ultimate goal is to mentor them to success and provide them with the opportunity for a brighter future.
What Does Sponsorship Include?
For just ₦70,000 annually (approximately £32 GBP / $42 USD), you can sponsor a child and cover the following essentials:
Tuition fees
Uniforms, including shoes and other necessary items
Books and learning materials
Administrative fees associated with their education
By sponsoring a child, you are not only giving them access to education, but you are also providing the foundation for their future.
How Does the Scheme Work?
Child Identification: We prioritize orphans and underprivileged children, selecting those most in need of educational support.
Sponsorship: Donors can choose to sponsor a child on an annual basis or contribute monthly, ensuring the child’s full academic year is covered.
Progress Tracking: We believe in accountability. Our team tracks the child’s progress throughout the school year, ensuring they receive the support they need to excel.
Mentorship: Beyond academics, we pair children with mentors who can guide and inspire them to achieve their full potential. As a donor, you have the option to be directly involved in mentoring the child you sponsor.
